![]() I only have 20 or so hunts myself with the weapon but I don't think it takes a genius to realize 40 or so iframes and launching into the air and plunging your katana into their back translates to get out of jail free cards and huge damage and you should always be doing both whenever possible. Originally posted by Vamp:No flame, bait, whatever just not sure how to word it. ![]() But if I'm still downing my monsters in solo hunts sub20? Don't really feel like I'm missing out xD I"m running Dual Blads now, and even after 100+ hunts I'm sure I"m still missing tips/tricks/etc. Helm breaker is something I do use occasionally, but some monsters are *very* mobile and love to turn/rotate at inopportune times I find that mostly, if I don't know 110% that I can land it, I'm not going to bother wasting all the buildup on hitting the playing field.Īnd really, it's not something I even discovered until I had already beaten PC vanilla (I also have the PS4 version, which I beat the original content for) I'm just here to have a good time, and I saw great results without it in my repetoire. Foresight looks neat sure, but overall I just don't think it's worth all the effort. Foresight is cool, but honestly after so many hunts and knowing how these monsters tick, I find it simpler (and more consistent, since you don't need the spirit gauge) to just roll around. ![]() I am a longsword user, been doing it since MH3 for some stupid amount of hours. ![]() First, 23 hours in MHW? Chump change, I wouldn't say 100 hunts at 15min a piece is really that many considering how many hours total I've poured into these games in the past. ![]()
